   Worship at
   Tabernacle

It is 8:55 a.m. on a Sunday morning. In the Tabernacle Baptist Church building,
Pastor Mike is setting up to video the service, as Barbara rings the bell. Liz is at the piano, preparing the worship music. People socially distanced in the pews are greeting each other and chatting.
Meanwhile, at homes in RI and beyond, those who are unable to join in person are finding the Tabernacle FB page in order to watch the service.
It is 9:00 a.m. Pastor Mike greets those in the building and at home, and worship begins!  ​

Our Pastor

Our Pastor,
Rev. Michael Mercier,
"Pastor Mike", has served as
part-time pastor among us
at Tabernacle Baptist Church
since 2017, as well as serving
in the same capacity
at Allendale Baptist.
Pastor Mike brings to us the skills he possesses as Spiritual Director at RI , Hasbro Children's, Miriam, and Newport Hospitals.
