Tabernacle's 140th Anniversary : 2013
Sunday, September 8: Former pastor Rev. Donald A. Anderson (1986-1987, 1988-1990) joined us for worship. He currently serves as the Executive Minister of the RI State Council of Churches.
Sunday, September 8: Following worship, we gathered for a parking lot cookout.
Sunday, October 28: Worship included a reenactment of a 19th century sermon by Charles Finney, presented by Jeff Asermely.·

Sunday, November 3 - We held a special anniversary celebratory worship service. This was followed by lunch in Cottrell Hall. The hall was named in honor of the founding pastor of Tabernacle Baptist Church, the Rev. Benjamin B. Cottrell.
